Put your feet up on the daybed by the window while enjoying views of the Turlid waterfall and the sound of bumblebees buzzing around the climbing roses. The room boasts 18th-century timber walls and wallpaper with a traditional design from Norsk Arv. It is decorated in memory of Jan Ekman, best known for the iconic fly fishing book Syv netter på Alta (Seven nights in Alta), and, not least, the photographer behind all the beautiful black-and-white photos adorning the hotel.
