A favourite retreat for anglers over generations, the farm’s historic buildings have been transformed into a boutique hotel. The hotel sits in the heart of the World Heritage listed Western Norwegian fjord landscape, and is a part of 'The Great Canyon of the North' - the Aurlandsdalen valley.
One of the oldest buildings in Aurland, dating from the early 18th century. The furnishing of each room in the Fisherman’s Cabin is inspired by historical guests with close links to the Aurlandselva river.
VIEW ROOMSBuilt on the site of the old goat barn. This is where you’ll find our suites named after fishing spots in the river. The Goat Barn is a traditional cog-jointed house dating from the early 18th century, beautifully combined with modern design.
VIEW SUITESA tribute to our grandmother Ingrid. She was born in this house dating from the mid-18th century, and she moved back to the farm that she had left at 17 at the age of 85. It is now a two bedroom suite.
VIEW SUITEOur traditional smokehouse has been transformed into a charming lounge and restaurant where we serve a daily three course dinner. Relax with a drink before or after your meal, unwind with a good book.
