As we are located in the UNESCO World Heritage Area of the western Norwegian fjord landscape, we are deeply passionate about nature and committed to a sustainable future. Our vision is for Fjord Norway to become the world's green heart. As travel and tourism rank as the third largest global industry, and our fjords are among Norway’s top destinations, we all share a significant responsibility as both hosts and guests.
We are certified according to Norwegian eco-tourism principles, ensuring that our tourism practices protect nature and culture while benefiting the local community. We aim to minimize our carbon footprint by offering gentle adventure activities, such as cycling, kayaking, walking, and skiing, at a relaxed pace.
We are proud to be one of 22 eco certified businesses in Norway.
We grow our own vegetables and collaborate with our neighbors when necessary. Venison, lamb, and beef come from nearby farms, while trout is sourced from the mountain waters, where fishing plays a crucial role in the ecosystem.
