What should I bring to Norway?

Norwegian weather is part of your magic travel
adventure. However, we like our guests to be prepared for the ever changing elements. In Norway you can experience four seasons within four minutes, so bringing good outdoor clothes is essential for your well being.

For your own comfort, please bring:

  • Hiking Shoes

  • A wind and rainproof jacket (and pants)

  • A hat that covers your ears

  • Gloves

  • Norwegians prefer to wear a wool, long sleeve jersey under their jackets as it cools you down when hot and keeps you warm when cold (unlike synthetic fibres)

  • Bathing suit for the woodfired hot tub and/ or a dip in the fjord

  • Wool socks for your hiking adventures

Where is the closest airport?

  • Sogndal Haukåsen - 1,5 hours by car

  • Flesland Bergen - 2,5 hours by car
